PROVO — BYU is No. 15 in the season’s first College Football Playoff rankings. The Cougars are 7-2 on the season with wins over Arizona, Utah, Arizona State, Washington State and Virginia, as well as South Florida and Utah State. Losses have come to Boise State and Baylor.
