Saturday is a real football buffet for the Beehive State

— Mountain West opener for both teams.

— Boise State has won 21 consecutive conference openers, dating back to 1999.

— The Broncos are favored by 9.5 points.

Lunch

WASHINGTON STATE (1-2) AT UTAH (1-2), P12N, 12:30 p.m.

— Pac-12 opener for both teams.

— Cam Rising makes the start at quarterback for Utah in place of the departed Charlie Brewer.

— The Utes are favored by 14.5 points.

Dinner

EASTERN WASHINGTON (3-0) AT SOUTHERN UTAH (1-2), ESPN-PLUS, 6 p.m.

— Big Sky opener for both teams.

— BYU has a 12-game winning streak at LaVell Edwards Stadium.

— South Florida defeated BYU 27-23 in Tampa in 2019.
