It was a good year for Utah high school football alums and the NFL Draft. Two of the first seven players picked were prep products from the Beehive State — No. 2 selection Zach Wilson (Corner Canyon) and No. 7 choice Penei Sewell (Desert Hills) were taken by the Jets and Lions, respectively. Several others, including a bunch of BYU Cougars, received opportunities as well.
