Blake, Ngata, Rimando, Spiers set for induction in Utah Sports Hall of Fame

 SALT LAKE CITY  — It’s induction time for the Utah Sports Hall of Fame Foundation’s Class of 2021. The honorees include professional golfer Jay Don Blake, water polo Olympian Courtney Young Johnson, former football star Haloti Ngata, retired pro soccer goalie Nick Rimando, and ex-Weber State two-sport standout Teri Okelberry Spiers.

The newest Hall of Famers were chosen based on outstanding athletic achievements and valuable contributions to sports on behalf of the State of Utah

 This year’s banquet is being held on Sept. 20 at the Little America Hotel in downtown Salt Lake City. Tickets are $90 and can be purchased online.
